Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying)

The Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying) is a 2-year full-time postgraduate program offered at ACAP's Sydney campus. The program provides an accelerated pathway to professional social work practice for graduates from other disciplines. The program covers key areas including social work theory, human behaviour, social policy, community development, and social justice. Students gain practical skills through supervised fieldwork placements in community organisations and government agencies. The program is designed to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to work with individuals, families, and communities. Graduates are eligible to apply for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). The program is AQF Level 9 accredited and is open to international students.
