Bachelor of Nursing
The Bachelor of Nursing is a 3-year full-time program that prepares students for a rewarding career in nursing. The program provides comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for professional nursing practice. Students gain hands-on clinical experience through placements in hospitals, community health centres, aged care facilities, and other healthcare settings. The curriculum covers core nursing subjects including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, mental health nursing, medical-surgical nursing, and aged care. Graduates are eligible to apply for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). The program is offered at WSU's Parramatta South campus and other campuses, and is open to international students.
